My brother Jim and sister-in-law Kara were expecting their ninth baby. About a week ago, Kara noticed there was little movement. They went into the hospital yesterday, and Kara gave birth to a stillborn son.
They have decided to name the boy Enoch James. James is in honor of the boy's father, and my brother. Enoch was a name they've always thought about using for a boy, and they decided it was the right name for their son, when they considered what the Bible says about Enoch. "Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away." Gen. 5:24. He'll be joining his cousin, Tiffany Grace, the daughter of Dave and Nancy. We'll look forward to seeing them both one day.
We'll be having a memorial service later this week. Please pray for Jim and Kara.

Oh Dan, that is so sad and naming him Enoch is so beautiful.
I will definitely be praying for them and the kids.
I don't know what to say.
