...and check out this recipe for what epicurious calls the Best Cocoa Brownies. I made 'em last night, and they're darn tasty. The recipe comes from a cookbook called Bittersweet, and when I tasted the batter, it was a little too much on the bitter side, so I added a 1/4 cup of sugar, and it turned out just like I like my brownies. I added a little peppermint extract too, which was tasty. I'm a fudgy brownie kinda guy, and these fit the bill.
Oh...and if you make them, I think it's easier to melt the butter first, and then add the sugar and cocoa, for what it's worth.
I think you'll like 'em!
They helped get me through my Lost withdrawal yesterday. Thanks God for chocolate!
