I've got access to the internet, and access to photos, and time to kill before I need to leave on the final leg of my journey, so a-bloggin' I shall go!
Let's get something out in the open: Nebraska is BORING! The only thing that really breaks the monotony of the windswept prairie is one of the stranger things you'll ever find on the road, the Great Platte River Road Archway Monument.
Out of the middle of nowhere, you see a glorified crosswalk stretching from one side of I-80 to the other. It's a bit eerie, with these angular looking eagles on either side. My friend Daryl said last night, looking at the picture, that it looks like something the Nazis would have built. It does have a Third-Reichish quality to it, I have to admit. I've never stopped on my way through there. I'm always too bent on getting to the other side of no-man's land, buzzing along at around 84 miles an hour. Giddy up!Yesterday, Daryl and I headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park. I've been there a couple of times before, but it never ceases to amaze me. Here a few pictures of our trip there.

Blogger is giving me photo trouble, so I'm just going to post this, and try another entry.

Oh, Amen - Macs rule.
G'on, getyasef one.
So are you a Mac man yourself? What do you have?
We have an iMac G5 and a 14" iBook. They're both pre-Intel dual-processor, but I like them: fast, smooth, graceful, cool. (Cool is what's important, of course. It's all about cool.)
Seriously though, I'd highly recommend one - they just work. They're more expensive, but I think they're worth it.
