The Competition

So you can see other people's creations for the competition here at the Mrs. Field's website. There are some good looking cookies, and some that cause you to just scratch your head. I think the first rule for a competition like this should be the following: don't list a cake mix as an ingredient.

You have to post a story about your creation too, so I'm thinking about this right now...I've got a sentimental story about my grandmother, and the Kitchen Aid mixer I inherited from her, but it could easily become too maudlin.

I think the Cranberry Cabanadoodle sounds kinda tasty. And yes, that's the title of the cookie.

I'm just digging the photo for the Fiesta Cookie. Worth a look.

Not really sure what to think of the Snapperdoodles.

Best story so far can be found at the Fruit d'Loop recipe.

This one's just out there, but I'd definitely give it a whirl. I like these people who think up these concoctions. We're cut from the same cloth.

The Minted Chocolate Cookies are the closest to what I've concocted. But with a whopping tablespoon of peppermint extract--that'd clear your sinuses in a heartbeat. I think he/she must have meant a teaspoon.

Chicken Pox Cookies don't sound too appetizing, but the story's endearing.

OK, that's enough time wasting for one morning.

Something I find kinda humorous:

I get nervous looking at the competition.

I love that you are duking it out with a bunch of septuagenarians.

Run your story by me, I'll give you feedback.

The "geriatric diet" line is hilarious, don't you think?

Hey Cookie Monster!

...I don't really have anything to say, I just wanted to write that.

The Cookie Monster's on a bit of a hiatus. It's been two days since I've made some cookies.

What's wrong with me?
