Southern Wisdom

I spend a lot of time at a place called the Forestry Forum. There are quite a few good ole southern boys who have the ability to coin a phrase that perfectly sums up how people guided by common sense should feel about certain things.

In a thread about new reports regarding the carcinogenic threat of char marks on steaks, a guy named Tom said the following about his decision to ignore such warnings:

"I suppose I'm trying to go through life without death being my ultimate goal. It's just a symptom of the trip."
