I just pulled the trigger on Match.com and Yahoo Personals. Gotta move on, right? I had a profile up on both, but didn't get my pictures up until just a few days ago, and I've already heard from a few women, and a couple that seem interesting to me, so we'll see what happens.

So far, I've heard from several single moms. A woman from Indiana, with three daughters aged between nine and sixteen, told me that my profile made her melt, and that she just has to meet me. I'm flattered by the melting part, but I just can't imagine marrying someone right now who has children--maybe I'm not a big enough guy to be willing to become an instant dad. I've put in my profile that I'm hoping for someone with no kids, but I've heard from several of them already. Makes it a bit awkward. Do you just ignore the messages in your inbox, or drop them a quick note, thanking them for their interest, but say no thanks? What's the protocol?
