007

I've been watching Casino Royale over the past couple of days. The last time I saw it was in the theaters, and I forgot how great the movie is. I just finished the last 30 minutes, and if you ask me, it's the best bond movie out there since it's the first time Bond isn't something other than a veiled super hero, but actually shows his foibles and vulnerabilities.

And the last scene with the villa in Venice that went down was very, very cool.

I give it five stars, without reservation, and I think Daniel Craig is the best James Bond--even better than Sean Connery.

Sacrilege, I know.

i concur. it is very well shot, as well. the colors are vibrant and that ending scene is great action w/o silliness. they successfully reworked it for the times. he is a very good bond.

Bad news about the next Bond movie though--it's supposed to be "funny" and more lighthearted, with a lot of gags.

That equals bad.
