Obsessed?

OK, so let me just tell you, I modified the cake you see in the picture down below, and man, it's a tasty creation. It could be my favorite of them all. I made another version of the pumpkin cake today too, and that's pretty tasty as well. A little more leavening, and I think I have that one just where I need it. Ironically, the one that I've spent the most time, and the most energy and money on, is the one that I feel is still lacking. It tastes great, but it doesn't behave in the oven like I want it to.

Basically two more days to mess around, and then the entries are due. I think I'll make about six more cakes between now and then.
