I received a voice mail today from a good friend of mine, a trumpet player who I went to MSU with for several years. I see him quite often since he gigs with the symphony about once a month or so. He went in for a biopsy of his prostate last week because of an elevated PSA level in his blood work. He just received word today that he definitely has cancer. He's only 47 and both his father and grandfather died of prostate cancer. This is a rough day for him.
Pray for him, will you?
