Modern Logic

We have come in our culture now to the point to where your logic is judged by the conclusion you reach, instead of judging the conclusion you reach by the logic. And your logic, if it doesn’t come out at the “right place” is often condemned.

I listened to this sometime this past summer. It's a tape that's been floating around my house from my brother Steve's trip to Oxbridge 1998, ten years ago which celebrated the life and writings of C.S. Lewis. I think this man is brilliant and that this quote has myriad applications today.
