All I'm Saying...

...is thank God for the National Review. I'm going to be spending a lot of time there in the next four years.

I'm simply sick over the results of the election.

yeah, i know.....brett and i feel like a family member died. the only thing we can focus on now is that God is still in control, and that his kingdom is eternal and not of this world. we are called now more than ever to be lights in the darkness. when i woke up yesterday and saw the results, i knew that God would have something for me at the 6am mass. I wondered if my 40 day fast had meant anything, i was filled with a silent doubt and despair....then the first reading at mass
...Phil 2: 2-12
"...do everything without grumbling or questioning,
that you may be blameless and innocent children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation,
amoung whom you shine like lights in the world, as you hold on to the word of life,
so that my boast for the day of Christ may be that i did not run in vain or labor in vain...."

we now have to turn our hearts towards prayer and fasting for our new leader,
we find our security and keep our hope in the eternal God who will never let us down.
