He handed me the projected return slip, and my jaw dropped. It was going to look like I was receiving close to $6,000 back. I felt like I had won the lottery, and I was doing some mental calculating about what I was going to do with my new found money. I mentioned that this was so much higher than any previous year, and that I was ecstatic, but at the same time, I had my doubts.
Well, he had put one of my incomes from one 1099 into the withholding category for another income, which made it look like I had about $3,000 more taken out than I did. Toss that into the income pile, and readjust, and I'm not even at half that $6,000 mark.
Would've been nice, but I would undoubtedly have been audited this year. It was nice to think of a trip overseas, at least for a moment, but I received what I was hoping for.
And I'm done!
