Chemistry.com

My eHarmony account has lapsed, and I've thought about signing up on Chemistry.com. It's the arm of Match.com that is trying to emulate what eHarmony brings to the table, and like it's competitor, it starts with a personality profile. I tend to always enjoy taking different kinds of personality tests, but I find that they can often be very different, depending on what facets of my life I'm thinking about during a specific question. I think we're all a little too complex to be narrowed down to just four letters.

But here's what Chemistry.com said about me, and I think it's pretty close to me, actually.

Scott's recent post about his personality intrigued me, so I tried that test as well.

I think a glance at the two would suggest that they don't really jibe, though I think they both describe me pretty well. I find that fascinating. And incidentally, Scott, according to this test, we're both INFP's. That's good company.

Good company indeed. I had the same apprehensions as you, Dan. I constantly desired the questions to be contextualized somehow. (For the record, I don't believe I should have scored 95% introverted - maybe 80% - the sight of other people doesn't usually cause me to wilt.) I think the INFP clothes probably fit me quite well.
