I've been reading a slew of books lately, bopping from one to another. This afternoon, I spent some time reading some Elisabeth Elliot and two sentences rang out, clear as day. A good reminder for someone who's always pining for a wife, and a good reminder for all of us who feel the need or absence of something in our lives.
God has promised to supply our needs. What we don't have now we don't need now.
That's pretty clear cut, ain't it? That's worth chewing over for awhile, at least for me.
