Could you put fewer cookies on the plate (like maybe just three) and have them not touching each other? I think it's just the dark color, but the front cookie is not jumping out at me distinctly like it should, even with the narrow depth of field.

Just a thought.

Between the photos and your descriptions, however, I am seriously drooling over my keyboard.

Of the photos you've posted, I like A over this new one. This new one is too dark on the front left edge of the cookie. If you like the composition of it better, see if you can get more light into that corner.

Yeah, I think you might be right, Sherry...it is pretty dark. I may take a few more shots tomorrow--

Glad you're drooling though. :-)

A friend made them today, and they didnt' turn out too well, so I need to rethink the directions a little bit.
